History Lesson:
Body armor has been used for protection for centuries. The first body armor was made from animal hides or woven fibers, and was used by ancient warriors to protect themselves from the blows of their enemies.
Later, armor made of metal plates became popular, making knights in the Middle Ages almost impregnable in battle.
During World War II, better forms of body armor were developed, including bulletproof vests and helmets made from sturdy materials like steel and Kevlar.
Today, modern body armor is made with advanced materials such as ceramic and composite fibers, which make it highly effective at stopping modern weapons. Which is what these Level IV plates are made of, stay safe!
